Not wanting to stray away from the main subject of the post, which relate to length of build, but felt that everyone deserved a reply of their valid questions and I‘m grateful to all for taking the time to read and give me input.
Yes, it is Ghassan.
I’ve been there 4 too many times.
Picked up my car today. Felt as if I just picked up a car from the junk yard. Pictures do no justice. It is actually worse in person. Here is just a few.
I do not recommend Ghassan to anyone. If I had to choose one word to describe Ghassan…, it would be DISHONEST.
Here is a couple of pictures of the condition I found my car after 14 months and nearly $30k gone.
I will be posting a full full review soon to be titled ”My experience with Ghassan.”

This sounds like a total shitshow dude. I am so sorry that you went through this personally. I hope you get something meaningfully positive out of this eventually.

What you've said so far about Ghassan likely doesn't come as a surprise to those who frequent these forums.

Picked up my car today. The car’s condition is as if I had picked up a car from a junk yard.
Build, tune, etc. was paid for last November(2022). Balanced of $2,600 (Extra BS work the he recommended) paid today.
14 months after dropping of my car and nearly $30k later, my car still not running right, and the condition of the car is awful (yes like a junk yard car).
The business is Ghassan Automotive. Will be posting a full review soon, “My experience with Ghassan.” But if I had to pick one word to describe him, it would be DISHONEST. Do NOT recommend it.

It was just close to 30. Not much…, a bad running, weathered, and unkept car that looks like just came out of a junk yard. Black stuff faded, rubber wore out from the sun, and black dirt all over the interior. Look closely at the floor board picture. Looks like a 5 year old decided to finger paint my floor board with brake dust. It’s really a shame.
But, remove and install, supposedly close deck, VAC bore and polished head, Férrea valves, Mahley pistons, Manley rods, Schrick cams, King bearings, brake in, and tune.
Details in dedicated follow up post.

Sorry to hear about your experience with Ghassan. Same story we have all heard before unfortunately. Honestly I hope that work was done...they are notorious for doing sketchy things. Like shipping out a stock motor and saying it was built when nothing was touched sketchy. Or swapping an M engine with a non M engine and hoping the owner would not notice. But hey that is how the owner affords louis vuitton fanny packs and european vacations.

What front strut bar is that? It works with the m3 bars? Got a link?

Edit: If anyone wants a built N54 just go to Billiam. At this point I don't see why anyone would go anywhere else. His reputation is great. Many happy customers. Unlike Ghassan and many others which are all dumpster fires.
