I don’t have PD transmission, is that ok with my regular transmission! I need oil change 85,000 !
Pentosin ATF1 is what I used in my stock transmission and it shifts smooth. I thought I read later it was compatible with older ZF transmission but not for ours. But I have had no issues with it in the past 20k.

Is the external cooler needed just because of the new plates or is it recommended due to anticipated track/heavy use?
IIRC, The clutch material has different thermodynamic properties which makes it imperative to run the trans through an external cooler. I have attached the clutch material brochure that Jason provides.

Are these clutches a direct drop in to our common AT. Or only for PDtrans
PD transmissions are just rebuilt 6hp21's with race bushings, these clutches, and ZF overhauled torque converter and valve body.

You can drop these clutches in any 6hp19/21, however it is probably worth it to rebuild your valve body and replace your bushings/adapters since you are already in the transmission.

I am AWD so I have more than a transmission to worry about sigh I was stupid for thinking this was going to be my daily driver years ago. If I was only warned about the heroine mod problem I was going to have smh.
