Did your car originally come with paddles? If not you need the BMS paddle addition wiring harness. That's how I did it because my JBBE module didn't have the wires coming in and out of pins 35, 52 and 38, 22. I just went from x1880 straight to the blue 4 pin plug of the 6AT floor shifter with the BMS kit and from there to the transmission.
So you somehow need to get a connection from pins 2 and 4 of plug x1880 of the steering column switch to pins 5 and 1 of the x70020 plug of the transmission. You dont even need to go through JBBE module. You can bypass it completely.
If you are interested I can also find out what resistors I used.
Also make sure you re pin the paddles to pins 1 and 3 otherwise it will not work.
Ive been meaning to reply to this for a day or so, but yes my car did originally come with paddles (I believe, ill double check but im positive it did as it was auto originally, pretty much right after i got it i did a manual swap and now had to undo that to move to a DCT, I took the entire steering wheel trim and paddles off of the 135is parts car, paddles are already pinned properly (didnt have to mess with them) Ive already done the wiring in the DME box, my car is an 01/06 so i had to swap most of my modules inorder to support the DCT, all parts coming from the 135is, JBE, DSC, Trans, Shifter, Steeringwheel trim/paddles etc. I am getting a voltage incorrect code for my paddles (Havent looked in a while but im pretty sure im getting that code, Im more or less wondering if i can make it pretty much plug n play, im assuming i might need resistors in line with the paddles but im not understanding why they wont work out the gate with all the required/matching modules from that car
