Not looking to start any tuna fights or anything. Busy enough with covid bs as most people are. When he approached me with logs and a dyno of his setup he asked if there was room for more power without pressing limits, my answer with what I saw was maybe-probably. I based that on many similar setups I've tuned, all of which tend to run mid to low 600s with the boost and timing he was running depending on conditions. I wasn't trying to beat his old results, just got the car set the way I typically do while respecting his goals. I'm happy to see that the car performs exactly as I predicted it would, and so is he obviously since he posted his results.

I think the biggest takeaway is more evidence the pure dd turbos are good for 600+ no problem. Plenty left in her, another couple psi and a little more timing before I'd call it max effort but max effort stuff isn't what I consider reliable.

Well said, thats pretty much how it went down and I never wanted to start a tuner war and still stand by that.

so much different factors so I think they cant be compared directly like that.

The 1m has a 850 vs 600 or what ever is in the 135/335 if that matters as they might run at different speeds.

The one and only tuner i trust, great result as usual sir/ hat down. On my twin setup, he squeezed 634whp on Di only (e40 bucktless pump).
Waiting on motor mounts as i keep braking my boost reference to my EBC(bottom mount) from the shifting, and we will see what his new tune will put me at.

Did I call her high maintenance? Shoot, I must have meant "high excellence", naturally! And don't worry 'bout that extra weight in her trunk E93, it's because she does squats.

Really though I'm glad it all came together well. Like any good inanimate machine she knows what she likes.
