@Olza is it possible to somehow run your solution on my n54 dct e92 08 running a custom DCT orientated MHD map?

One of the tuners has a good history with n54+dct and states to include some dct specific optimizations, not sure about other tuners and the actually adjustments as I did not see the tune due to encryption.

I think that was BQ. His tunes were really bad, I think that was just a marketing strategy he used but he's not been around for years.

The DCT is very sensitive to tune changes. If tuners don't adhere to best practices then it's quite easy to end up with bad shifts. Things like torque table changes and MAP scaling will cause problems.

You'll notice a huge improvement going from something like xHP to the GTS conversion that Olza offers regardless of what DME tune you run. But if you are still using a map from BQ I would get that changed as a priority. I remember him doing some really dodgy things to prevent throttle closures because he was unable to work out how to get the DCT to go above the 18 psi stock limit.

the dct MHD maps just keep the load to torque table factory. Olza can tune the gen 1 dct. I messaged him the other day and he said he was on vacation

You are a strong thinker ;-)
The 18 psi limit he did fix in later revisions, anyhow my tune is dated.

Any tuner you could suggest for it seems a required revision?(N54/DCT/FBO+RB's and all piping)

Will wait for the gearbox on Olza to return from his vacation :)

Thanks for your responses! Appreciated!

heya.
there are some improvements in shift rev-bouncing in gts conversion. thanks to carabuser for log analysing and pointing for some things,

also im taking part in interesting project - using full GEN2 DCT gearbox with GEN1 mechatronic (and modified software) on E92! that will give more long gears due to different gear ratios... swap already done and car on field testing.

Hi all, been running the xHP on my 35i with a custom tune for a while now and I find that the kickdown time wasting "slippage" is ridiculously long and annoying! does the GTS tune eliminate this? I too would like to switch over to the GTS mapping.

What custom tune do you have? Or are you saying you have a custom tune on the dme?

Kickdown doesn't work very well at all with xHP. I think they tried to make the GTS work for normal vehicles and failed, so then just attempted to copy as many tables across from the GTS tune into the normal tune as possible to try get some of the benefits. That's probably why their maps are so jerky.

With the GTS conversion, in D mode I can prod the accelerator and get a nice crisp downshift without any strange delay. It's more comfortable than the xHP maps and shifts a load faster.

When you did your testing what dme tune did you have?

So where do I get the GTS tune?
