  1. Buying my 1st 335i: JB4 tune non-Bluetooth, new turbos less than 2k on them, wheel spacers, Michelin sports tires 90%, new water pump and thermostat, steal slot and ported breaks, intake, stage 2 clutch, all maintenance up to date and regular, 87k Miles, established a local enthusiast specialty shop; broken motor for passenger seat, tire light on, airbag light on... learning everything I think I need to know to maintain a mean bimmer. Any suggestions?

Carbon cleaning done? If not start there with 87k Miles that's what I'd do. Enjoy the car though.

  3. Well if it's truly up to date then just enjoy it besides getting those lights fixed. Walnut Blast for sure. I'm super anal about knowing what's done tho so I Would do all fluids and plugs and such just to know exact wear.

  4. Everything's up to date about 2k ago... no carbon blast. I'll do that.

If everything else is up to date besides than you most definitely should. So you get the most out of your car.

One of the best cars you can buy for the money!

  8. I am a bit concerned about the clutch? Stage 2, very stiff. My current car stage 2 clutch, short shift, easy not stiff like butter. It's the only thing I don't like about the 335i.

Swap it for an oem if it bothers you too much

The manual transmission has never been know to be "smooth" on BMWs. Even previous generations.

  11. get one of these and get rid of the clutch delay valve... problem solved

my e36 shifted a lot better than my e92 does...
a short shift kit just makes it easier to money shift and.burn through synchros...

Everything should be good if it was kept nicely.
I will do walnut blasting if it wasn't done in the past...

BMW is known for popping random lights on dashboard lol because its too sensitive. Just get the code and ask people what's wrong with it.

  14. I just posted another thread on what's going on with it now...
