current location for sure, on the turbine would def limit turbo options, and also it looks great when the hood is popped open with how it is now!

John I would reroute the windshield washer fluid filler neck to the passenger side leaf catcher. It will keep it away from the manifold. Takes 2 seconds to do with the shields off. You can also move the wiring harness and whatever inline fuse that is.

May not all be needed but it ends up a cleaner install imo.

The wastegate looks much better on top.

I’m going to leave it as is for now just to see what happens, it’s seemingly fine. I’d like to have the absolute least amount of relocation for the install.

Not so much of a relocation as pull down and shove it up a different hole. Oo big opening there. Uhh. Gonna let that one hang. LOL!

I get not wanting to move stuff all over. Maybe some gold tape on the lower tube would be sufficient.

dumb looking gold tape vs. a 2 minute job...but whatever he obviously knows what he is doing and there is no DP there like a top mount.

No it’s a good suggestion, I’ll see if we have issues and then maybe we can recommend moving it elsewhere for the install.

Ive read through the last pages in this thread without finding a price.

Any ideas on the pricing for a complete kit?

He has mentioned sub 5k price on a couple of occasions. I'm not sure how that stands now but that is what comes off the top of my head anyway. Forewarned, I'm wrong all the time.

Sub 5K is the goal and we’re striving to keep it there. We want to offer something with advantages that other kits don’t have for approximately the same price. Running a single Wastegate has helped that quite a bit as gates are several hundred dollars alone to purchase even wholesale.

At this point, you really have to pick and choose your priorities. And if someone isn't worried about the price, I'm sure custom work can be quoted for the right sum.

Trying to tell me to scrap my entire progress and kit and make a China log seems like shot to me. I’ll leave that to JP Derpz.
What's wrong with Log manifolds?
The quickest and fastest ST N54s run manifolds that look like half a log.

Motiv is far from a log manifold. The CNC magic that is inside that thing is something you won't see many other places. Steedspeed will have a similar setup.

Not putting it down, but I believe that is incorrect. Pretty sure the steedspeed manifold was switched to cast process a while back.

Motiv is very far from a simple log. I know nothing of the steedspeed manifolds personally so I can’t say. The costs involved in the Motiv must be really high due to the level of manufacturing required and the quality provided hence the large price tag. It flows much better than a simple log. A log is great if you have a small budget to single turbo your car and you don’t care about spool characteristics, flow, quality, craftsmanship etc

In which case, if you can’t afford a nice quality kit, can you really afford to be doing such a thing to your car in the first place? Probably not, but that’s none of my business. If you just want a cheap kit, there are vendors out there who provide cheap products. I don’t intend to do so, I have zero intention of slapping a log on the car and calling it a day. Just because something works, doesn’t mean it works for me and what I want.

Anyways, we have more kits going on local cars in the coming weeks. I’ve been absolutely slammed lately in terms of work so I haven’t had the chance to tune the car to what I want so the dyno results and logs will be coming in the next few weeks. Just give me a little time and I’ll get some results flowing for everyone to check out. Thanks again :)
