Hello,

I installed my Fuel-It! Stage 2 fuel pump on my 2012 335is and it’s been installed for about a week. I did a pull yesterday and I received
(fuel pump malfunction on the CIC display)
Used protool to check EKP module and I got this code (6292) “Control voltage too low“ is this considered a weak module?

What pump is it, Walbro 450?

Most likley the EKP needs to be replaced.

@b4llistic that link send a access denied error.
Yes it’s the Walbro 450. I went back to the stock fuel pump and currently not experiencing any issues or any error codes as of yet. I still need to find out if I have the latest EKP. I’m currently dealing with my fuel trims being on the lean side not to sure if a weak EKP module can cause that but i doubt it.

Just replace the EKP, with a EKPM3
That is the latest version and it works on tons of BMW's. You can find them all over ebay for $20 to $60

Any EKPM3 will work if you have an Eseries car.

Normally you would expect a voltage overdraw code. Start with the EKP Voltage Fix;

Does anyone have an EKP trace file from after this update?

@e92wolf if you do get a new EKP, can you send me your old one?
