Ignorant shit beliefs? First of all your wrong about no S/T hitting over 1000HP yet and as for A good pair of Garrets easily doing it, Do you think all you have to do is bolt on a huge pair of turbos to make high HP? The motor has to be able to "push" said turbos to their peak operating range. Once you can make 1000HP or anywhere close with an N54 then you can talk shit but not until.

I haven't seen one yet, but even if so they're not sitting in every parking garage across the US.

I'd say if any motor here can, it'd be Tony's.

Is it possible that I don't want 1000?

What turbo you planning on running?

Transmission?

I think you will need as much tire as you can get.

Which crank hub fix?

Best of luck!

Stock 6 speed manual trans, Maximum PSI crank hub. Organic twin disk clutch from X-Clutch, Mfactory LSD and Axles.

I would have happily done the 8.8 rear axle conversion if someone would have sold me one that would arrive in a timely manner. I'm going to stick with what I have for now and see how it holds up.

Turbo kit is a Motiv bottom mount with a big Xona turbo. (This was a last minute change).

So far I think I like the Clinched Flares wide body kit the best. I dont like how the N5 tuner kit molds the rear quarter down into the side skirt. Whatever kit I pick is going to have to be molded to the body. I dont care for the bolt on look.

Once the car is done Ill make a dedicated thread. Sorry to muddy up your tread OP. Manifold looks really good!!

Let me look into it and if it can be done, problem is 3.5k psi fuel pressure and the alloy fittings aren't rated for that.

They would have to be either stainless or steel, not sure the billet would take it without the rail being real bulky.

Polishing the factory rail or powder coating it would be the cheapest good looking option.

I was thinking the same thing about the aluminum fittings not being able to hold 3.5k psi but aluminum would dissipate the heat generated from the extreme pressure better. Wonder if I could jb weld male fittings into the rail?

The issue I think would be the expansion under heat as alloy weakens, i think it would be more trouble than it's worth but I'll look into it

Alloy fittings are rated to 300 psi from memory.

The final revision of the manifold is getting machined and should be ready by the end of next week.

Any eta of these for group buy or retail.
Someone else is saying 3-4 weeks.
Are you able to start a group buy list with prices like 5=X 10=X 20=X

We had a huge temp drop and more comparable results, had the car strapped down tight though but still managed this.

Looks like the manifold is working exactly as it was designed for, high rpm gains.

I still want a manifold like this to hit the N54 market. Bolt on runners makes the most sense to me. The manifold should be modular in this way imo.

Anything can be done but something like this would be well over 100k to develop.

Also how many would be seriously be sold, most likely be counted on one hand and even the most hard core of builds wouldn't use it as the only benefit would be only for looks.

Lots of con's as i can see at least 12 points of possible boost leaks

Outside of manufacturing cost, it shouldn’t cost any more to develop than a welded setup. The benefits are versatility in that real racecars could tune the length of the runners or the interior taper of them. Hypertune makes the best manifolds available for a number of platforms. Retail on that one is only $1999.00
