Depending on the car and engine wear you might get more in the intake path via the boost side or via the vacuum side. Initially the boost side was the main concern but as the cars get older we're seeing more oil control problems on the vacuum side cropping up so developed this kit so we have both sides covered. You can run one just one kit or both together. :)
At what power level is the upgraded vacuum tap really needed my friend is running his pure stage 2 hi flow on the stock line is there any negative side affects to that?

It's more about the cars age... At this point a vacuum side OCC is a good idea on any N54 IMHO.

My bad I didn't clarify I'm talking about upgraded vacuum line to bov

That's a good idea for any Tial valve. The smaller vacuum fitting on the manifold can delay the blow off process adding more wear and tear on the compressor, etc.

I would think low side catch can is beneficial on a brand new motor just its more pronounced on high mileage motors.

I'm a big fan of the Tial valves. Run them on all our cars and sell maybe 75 per month for N54s. Best setup going IMHO.
