So i installed the spec clutch sometime last year when i built the rear of the car. Did some motor work, cleaned everything up and went for startup. Clutch in, brake in, push start, all hell broke loose. Sounded like a war going on inside the transmisson. During startup the clutch VIOLENTLY kicks back at me and i immediately got out of it. Started looking at the little things like the slave cylinder. Removed it, started the car, ran flawlessly. Installed a brand new one, bled the system, same thing happened. Just took the transmission out again today and found this. Trans side the arm was in place, throw out bearing in place(low position) all is fine. Looked at the clutch..all was fine. When i went to take the bolts off the pressure place i noticed all of them were chipped. Look back at the transmission side and something i wasnt expecting to see is the pivot arm was sliced up. Idk how it happened but for some reason(even off the clutch with just the slave installed) The pivot arm is extended so far that when the plate spins its smacking against the arm causing all the symptoms above. Its weird because when i took the transmission out everything looked installed fine. If im missing something let me know. Thanks in advanced
