This is mainly for @jyamona
I have seen lately odd behaviour with fuel scalars. It feels like it's not responding to those changes I have made in scalar tables. It seems to me that the DME is adapting quite a lot even if I make quite big changes. So can you confirm that this sort of daptation is really happening because if it does it will be quite difficult to have a proper tune with your flex fuel system.
In addition I see this behaviour more when I'm using scaled MAP conversion table with n20 MAP sensor.
I think @V8bait has witnessed this behaviour also in the past with some cars?? This also happens with pump gas and I have to use quite big scalar values even with pump gas to not max out with STFT. LTFT I can get between +/- 5%.

FWIW - I've also noticed my scalars needing to be increased first to 1.05, then to 1.10 l, over the last five years on pump 93 in order to keep STFTs < 20. Not sure why, but my guess would either be the injectors and/or the O2 sensors getting old, all of which I believe are original with the car since 2008.

It's a VVE OS the car uses, you shouldn't use a static/simple scalar with mods that change airflow or else you'll have this issue if you don't reset adaptations occasionally. Try using the 3D scalar to account for changes with mods like intake/exhaust/turbos etc which free up power more in certain parts of the table and less in others. Also, some of the newer table mods modify the VE and load calculations, and MAP sensor scaling definitely changes things at certain loads. Gotta reflect these things right in the scalar.

3D scalar certainly makes sense and is what I modify in TunerPro. I'm just saying that over the years, all things being equal, I've need to increase the scalar values along the WOT line above 4,000 rpm first to 1.05, and then to 1.10.

Motiv has mentioned either here or on another board that the level of adaptation and learning in the DME is staggering and that is what is delaying the flex fuel offering.

The last post of his that I saw was that the coding/porting is done and they are working on intellectual property protection with MHD.

was on a forum hiatus for a little but I'm good now.. would absolutely love an to see an update of the progress

kind of put off getting an upgraded pump and running e altogether until I saw where this went so I'm hoping the eta is right around the corner

It may be more difficult than originally anticipated in having a "copy protection" of sorts. I can fully understand wanting to have the IP protected, or it will sell to a few, and everyone will just copy the maps.

That's kind of the choice made long ago when the decision was made to develop on an open platform like Android.
