I'm back to stock wiring and still troubleshooting. The throttle does not adapt and when I perform the throttle reset procedures it still comes back right away at ignition on. If I clear the 2CEC code while the car is running, I get past adaption and the throttle starts working but then it immediately starts throwing the jamming codes 2CEC and 2CED. This is where I'm stuck, at the moment. Here's the sequence:

1. Codes cleared.
2. Ignition On (engine off) -> Codes triggered -> 2CFB (Throttle-valve adaptation value) and 2D09 - Throttle
3. Start car - Limp mode -> Throttle pedal does nothing

4. Clear codes while running

5. New codes -> 2CEC (Throttle-valve actuator jamming) -> 2CED (Throttle-valve actuator jammed, continuously) -> 2D09 Throttle
6. At this point, the throttle works but the car remains in limp mode.
7. Clear the jamming codes, the car bogs, and the jamming codes immediately trigger.
8. My throttle is being held, hostage!

Since last time, I switched out the large DME connector and x60005 sub connector for factory new. All wiring is correct per the pin assignment print-outs I received from the dealer for my vin#. I can switch out the rest today but I'm not sure this is my problem.

I think the N54 gods wanted me to learn something in the two months I've owned an N54. I'm back! Now that I'm a DME wiring hack do I get back on the bull and reinstall FF ?

x05 pin 16 was a c*unt hair too wide. Had to use a 1.2mm jeweler's flathead screwdriver to adjust the pin so it would make contact the DME. I must have pulled and looked at this pin and every throttle pin 10 freaking times before I decided to compress/adjust it. Maybe the attached will help some folks troubleshoot in the future.

I just recently installed inlets basically I've been running around 50% ethanol within upgraded fuel pump complete full bolt on. I noticed after I installed the inlets low mile per hour, wide open throttle and mid-gear 3 to 5 I get either surgery or isolation Is anyone experiences I'm still running the stock turbos

I’m not sure what you’re asking. Please check for auto spellcheck errors and rephrase. Thanks.

I just installed inlets a few days ago. Iv been running stage 2+ v8 ff mhd. With fbo. After installing the inlets I did a few wot pulls in 3-5 gears but very low RPMs and mph.. it felt like surging.. im not sure if there to much air now.. according to mhd the inlets are not indicated and they said I need a custom tune... Is this true or not an also should I consider getting a heavier spring in my bov. It was the standard one in the vrsf charge pipe bov set. Thanks. I'll post a data zip in a min

Low rpm / low speed WOTs may not be good enough to allow the DME to adapt. Back when I was getting a Protune with Jake at ProTuning Freaks he’d asked me to do ~5 WOTs in 3rd gear 2000-6000 rpm prior to logging. I’d suggest you do the same.

Happy to report, 800-mile road trip this past weekend with the Motiv FF unit installed and it worked perfectly. Headed out of town on E50, 300 miles later no E85 anywhere near me, no problem. Pumped 93, ethanol content down to 13%. MHD/Motiv adjusted. The driver didn't. Desperately waited for my next corn-fed fix. Great product offering. Thanks for making it for us!

I absolutely agree. I recommend this whenever given the opportunity. There's more to it than just 'simplicity' and avoiding a flash. It is infinitely adjustable regardless of the E content, so it's not just easy, it's BETTER.

335i - 08 Coupe .
Ok so maybe my motive box is faulty?
This is what happens with 0% E , initially showed 0% then decided it was 100% E . I put some E85 in and it settles back to whatever it reads . Its like the 0% is out of range or somethig?

Were there any changes to the Flex Fuel V8 or V9 Beta maps in MHD V2?

I've noticed that when ECA reads E65 the Ethanol Interpolation shows 100% still.

From my understand the target for maximum power on a MHD Flex Fuel with OTS maps is E50. Anything above that will taper boost and reduce power output. Anything below E30 will reduces the Ethanol Interpolation and thus power.

Is this logic still valid with the newest MHD App release & Maps?
