I'm going to try new drains, or make my own that work.

Going to check for in/out play in the turbos with the downpipes off.

Id remove the whole pcv set up and put everything to stock, if i had not sealed the 6 ports to prevent pressure to get into the valve cover.

If i was to vent both ports on the valve cover (high/low) to atmosphere, would that rule out the pcv set up building pressure in the crankcase ?

The RB PCV Option C NON-PNP is $100 USD, per google today that is $130 Canadian. See post #1 here: http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35535

Heard of some defects in the adapter you are using, perhaps it was corrected however, not sure. Make sure you are using a true OE valve as well if not already. Make sure the pcv lines are rigid enough and do not collapse under vacuum. Your T-vacuum reference could also be suspect, but your call. And the catch can is optional so as long as it is sealed you are fine. Do know that sometimes trying to save a couple pennies ends up costing a lot more in the long run.

Also check cylinder Leakdown as it is a better fit test than compression testing for spotting some blowby.

Running vacuum to your crankcase, via a properly thought out PCV setup, is going to be most ideal.

Would not worry about oil drains unless the ones you have are kinked/clogged/etc. If unknown new OEM drains would be fine for you.

If you have the RB CHRA's would not worry about shaft play as they are beyond extremely robust, anything else is up in the air.

all summer and still fighting this leak.

replaced both turbo drain lines and gaskets.
replaced oil pan gasket the other day.

this week im removing the valve cover again and see if the gasket is pinched, and going try to check the rear feed line to see if the new o ring got pinched. Maybe the feed is leaking down the side.

After i replaced the drains and gaskets, it ended up being the rear main seal. I still have burnt oil residue on the vband on the front and rear turbo, but doesnt leak like it was.

the inside of the tranny was just coated with oil being splashed around.

I would remove the inspection piece, put a flashlight up inside and look for the main seal being pushed out.

i have a whole new load of issues now, which im about to make a post
