I'm going to get in on this too. I have an ethanol sensor in place already with upgraded fuel lines. When I adapt that to the flex-fuel system I will put in a new filter then remove the one from the hpfp.

This is what I used but use it at your own risk

Should only be installed by a competent mechanic

HPFP Adapter 171-06-14-BLK
Sensor adapter 140-06-BLK
Push lock hose adapters x2 401-06-BLK
30cm of aeroquip 3/8 fuel line depending where your connection is and type
Thread sealer or gas plumbers tape for the sensor

I like the op's ptfe setup might use this for my new setup but the new kryptalon from aeroflow hose

Extremely flexible but very expensive

Question, can you show me a photo of the female fitting which has the cone inside? The HPFP inlet is M14 1.5? What angle is the cone inside? I have a pair of these for my shotgun but they are separate inserts, ferrules or whatever they are called.

I saw this, but that is not right, you're missing the cone inside? There is no seal without the cone I think.

171-06-14-BLK Looks like that

If your going to put this fitting on the shotgun make sure you use a mild locktight on the thread as it vibrates a lot and it can come off

I think most of us can use a short course in “Fittings 101”.

(I used to work in a chemical engineering lab many years ago, where we had many boxes and containers and catalogs of all different kinds of fittings for different purposes. It seemed that there was a lot of hit and miss rummaging around in the parts bin. It’s amazing I didn’t blow anything up!)
