Hey Guys happy to announce our latest VTT product solution for the N54 platform.

VTT Cast CNC aluminum N54 valve cover.
We have been working on this for a while, trying to balance cost-effectiveness with good looks and high quality. We believe we have found the solution. This is a cast version of our incredibly popular Billet CNC valve cover. Instead of starting with a billet piece of aluminum, this cover is cast, then it goes through the same machining process as our billet VC. This keeps the cost down and makes for an awesome valve cover that eliminates the factory plastic cover (and its cyclonic PCV system). This allows you to run any of our modular PCV fittings, crankcase breather, vacuum relief, billet banjos, catch can kits, etc.

This truly is the best bang for your buck Valve Cover upgrade on the N54 market. High quality, low price, great looks, no cracking, and unlimited PCV plumbing options makes this a no brainer upgrade!

We offer three color options. Clear Anodize (please keep in mind, this will show casting imperfections as not all surfaces are machined), Black Wrinkle and Red Wrinkle Powder coat (wrinkle finishes will hide all casting imperfections and look the best). There is no charge for powder coating options. We offer custom colors of anodizing, and powder coat at $150 for either.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
  • THE STAINLESS BREATHER WILL NOT FIT ON THE FRONT ORB AS IT WILL NOT CLEAR THE HOOD.
  • This cover may or may not fit with your engine cover depending on how you have it set up, and is designed to be run without an engine cover.
  • This fits the BMW N54 engine ONLY



The Cast Aluminum CNC Valve cover is currently available for Pre-Order and we should have 10 Black Wrinkle, and 5 Red Wrinkle in about 2-3 weeks.

Few guys have pinged me asking about PCV setup (of course!). You have many options, but this is one of them.

If you wanted to run the vacuum relief valve, install in valve cover and put a check valve on the high side line.

If you want to have your high side not be VTA, run a line from second catch can back to turbo inlet instead of the breather.

NOTE: This is the CNC valve cover referenced; the cast cover is similar except both fittings are -10AN.

Glad you guys released a cast version at a very competitive price without getting rid of any of the features, and I'm looking forward to seeing what the wrinkle black looks like when you get pictures. I'll likely end up buying this down the road!

We will have a wrinkle black sample tomorrow. We ordered 25 VC's 15 Wrinkle Black 5 Wrinkle red, 5 clear anodize. Prob 2 weeks to get them.

Any raw finish ?
Clear anodize is raw but with corrosion resistance. Our "raw" Cnc VC's are all clear anodize. Beware as stated in the description. The CNC Billet cover is perfect with clear anodize. The cast version will have casting imperfections, and clear anodize shows them all. Many people would not want them, some would. Just something to note.

Any thoughts on a coil hold down bracket? I think that is a nice feature. I do like the versatility of this one the best!

The area under the di rails on the VTT VC looks like an after thought. The M18 actually flows with them like the stock VC and the logo is easily removed.
Some comments as to the design -kind of the opposite as "afterthought" as when we designed this cast VC, one of our goals was to pull off all unrequired mass in lieu of copying the stock design but in aluminum vs. flimsy plastic. It's true that a couple pounds isn't going to make or break anyone but if it's not needed, why add it in just to have the extra mass and free heat soak that comes with it?

Nice look and a nod to tastefully subtle logo. There have been several products that have prominent logos that stand out too much. The speedometer was a classic example. When people start to ask for one's product without a logo, it's what we call a hint - it's not one's logo that's the problem, it's inappropriate styling. This valve cover is nicely done all around.

The VTT design is far superior in terms of functionality weight saving and better airflow around the fuel lines to help with heat management on the fuel delivery side.

The stock type design has the fuel lines running through the rocker cover whilst transferring heat into the fuel which is not a good idea in terms of performance.

Whilst the stock look might seem to look better to some of you it definitely raises an eye brow.

On a side note I wonder how they are going to deal with all the ugly wiring whilst running the R8 coils as this has been the major issue with every rocker cover I've seen.

The other thing is having a nice flat surface of the rocker cover gives you the ability to put nice BMW stickers on it if you want to like ///BMW MOTORSPORT and such.

This is still a work in progress but I know if I was to run the other cover it would restrict me in running the super sexy BMW strut brace and this is what sealed the deal for me
and why I brought it in the first place to replace my OEM cover.

I'm waiting on precision to bring our new colours as I don't want to take the car of the road for a few days just to paint them.
