Install everything; stop short of wiring to the DME.

Well i'd have the tuner send you a startup map. Install and wire everything. Make sure everything is working like it's supposed to, then go get it tuned.

Nothing is more annoying having to troubleshoot something when you are about to tune.

Ok - I need some guidance from the hive mind regarding flex fuel install, and a little context along with my question:

1. I’m almost finished with my N54 build (forged internals, sleeves, insert, built head, cams, ARP everything), single top mount.
2. I will run PI, stage 3 pump, boost box, and flex fuel sensor. I also plan to have Motiv dyno tune the car after break in.
3. Should I wait to have Motiv install the flex fuel module when they dyno tune the car - after the break in?

Just looking for a little guidance....

Does not matter which way you go as long as you have the Flex fuel map installed when you install the sensor.

This is what I did:
1. First purchase the FlexFuel module from the Google Play store.
2. Purchase or have a FlexFuel map ready to load. So here is where you’d flash your V1.0 map from your tuner prior to tuning.
3. Flash the FlexFuel map, but don’t start the engine after flashing.
4. Disconnect the battery.
5. Wire in the Motiv FlexFuel module into the DME and hook it up to the ethanol content sensor.
6. Reconnect the battery and start the engine.

Cause I'm seeing people saying that they have the latest update which is 1.70 and I'm still on 1.66. Is it still in testing, or am I missing something. Cause I'm not seeing it as an update when I open the app.

It has moved from a closed beta to an open beta. Its on its final phase of testing before being fully released, dunno when that is though.

Im about to buy this setup to tune for flex fuel but before I do have you guys tested it with the ikmos ecu ?

Have you guys updated the pr coil checkbox settings for this ecu aswell as it wasnt set correctly and my tuner had to write them in manualy

FBO and Fuel Flex. In MHD should I pick v8 Stage 2+ E50, E30, 98 RON or 102 RON?

Hi, please flash the 98 RON map. You always want to pick whatever your base pump fuel will be.

Is cold start supposed to be deactivated with flex fuel? I don’t have it ticked in the MHD settings but my car hasn’t cold started the past 3 times after over night and 8 hour + periods. Running MHD STG2+ OTS
