Well damn, you beat me to my short-term goal even if I didnt make it to the track this season like I hoped. I should've kept the hype for the Helix down but it was just too cool
really though, congrats man! Doing that on a stock motor/drivetrain plus with twins is certainly an accomplishment! I wanna bring my twins into the 9s next season, hopefully I'll see you there Back on the topic at hand on this page: this is why I love these forums and prefer them so heavily over the FB groups. It's nice to see the developers of this platform are still down to get together and discover more things for us even after a decade+. If this does turn into another donation thing for the group of people who's doing this I'll happily donate again - unfortunately I dont think I have the skills to offer in regards to physically helping with that kinda thing.
Information on social media is designed for people with short attention spans or intermittent availability. Forums will remain the standard for interacting online in terms of information sharing. Not to mention, none of that information is available outside the Facebook ecosystem. You can't do a search on Google and find any Facebook group posts.

For any of those uneducated people red lighting aka leaving early doesn’t change your time down the track lmao it’s the same either way just means you left before green doesn’t affect your ET

The timer starts when you break the beams doesn’t matter when you break the beams. So if it was a .750 reaction time you wouldn’t add that time on to the pass that’s not how it works. This shows who’s been to the track and who hasn’t because that’s hilarious some people think it works like that. You don’t add or minus time off your ET based on your reaction time.
I knew you could sleep at the light and wait 10 seconds once its green and still get a good ET, it just makes sense it works the same way if you leave early.

if you are staged behind the beams all that shit goes out the window
This isn't about the RT / ET at all.
Driver started 2-3 car lengths behind pre-stage and stage and got a nice rolling start as car tripped the timer. So the time is invalid.
I think we're seeing different things. It looked like he staged perfectly to me. Looks like you're seeing parallax error. He's lined up right next to the other car, and yet you are saying he's 3 cars behind the staging lights?

Finally someone gets how works. People don't realize that et and reaction time heavily correlate hence deep staging etc.
