Hi Chris, thanks for hopping on here. I believe there are two fairly straightforward questions:
1) when will you be requesting payment?
2) when can we expect the products delivered to our doorstep?

Thanks for your time!

Filippo

As @BSimmi15 mentioned, we will not be taking deposits and we will handle payments once the stock has arrived in our US warehouse. To the guys worried about what they've ordered, we have ample stock going over so if you've given us the wrong specs we'll be able to handle that.

We'll be handling payments using PayPal and at this rate, we expect to ship these out next week and arrive mid-March.

@zcchen it would work out cheaper to send Ex-Australia rather from the states, perhaps message me and we can work that one out.

@darrell135 I'm just looking at your email funnily enough. If you're happy to wait for the stock to arrive in March then that should be fine.

March? I don't think any of us were expecting that late of a timeline for this group buy. It was previous talked about that most of your shipments were taking 2-3 days from Australia to US.

Based on my question and your answer, should I surmise that you'll be looking for payment around the middle to end of March and we will see shipment to our doorstep to buy mid-april?

I'm trying to plan my car coming apart, hence the question.

I was. The Mfactory twin disc Group buy was 1 year from start to finish. and they took 50% upfront lol.
these guys are pretty good with such a short timeframe.

UPDATE!!

See below from Chris:

Hi All,

Just a quick update to let you know the clutches are on their way to the US. As I said a couple of weeks ago, we will not be handling deposits or payments from here, rather we'll have Michael from M Factory handling this once the Kit's arrive.

Michael is on the forums and some of you may know him already. He will handle both the payments and the freight.

Once we can confirm the delivery date of the Kits, we will advise and get these sorted so you guys aren't kept waiting too long!

Hey guys,

sorry for not replying in this thread (I've been watching it since the beginning though). I didn't want to say anything until Chris confirmed the clutches were on there way over and made the announcement.

XClutch USA is based out of Ohio, which is the perfect location to service the East Coast. However, what they were lacking was a distribution centre to help service the West Coast. This is where MFactory come in.

From our 8000sqft facility in LA, we have the logistical capacity to service the entire West Coast quickly & efficiently, and can actually cut down transportation times (from AU to US) by over a week. On top of that, XClutch are dealing with a technical partner that has years of direct experience in the performance BMW drivetrain market. As a lot of you may be aware, XClutch USA is a newly established company/subsidiary and have still to finalise both their logistical and operating aspects in this market, hence the reason why we will be helping them with this group buy.

We have actually known ACS (Australian Clutch Services, the parent company) for a good number of years now, and have had several meetings with the MD with regards to helping them establish a presence in the US market.

Over the next few months, we will be working together with XClutch USA to increase inventory stateside, which will include both their Single and Twin Disc applications for the BMW.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask :)
